1yummyfood.com DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS
You can delete your 1YummyFood account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Here is exactly how.
1. Delete From Inside the App (fastest)
Customers:
1. Open the 1YummyFood Customer App.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
3. Read the confirmation notice and confirm.
Vendors:
1. Open the 1YummyFood Kitchen App.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
3. Read the confirmation notice and confirm.
If you have active subscriptions or unfulfilled orders, the app will tell you which ones to resolve first, or will direct you to contact support so we can coordinate the wind-down.
2. Delete By Email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line:
Data Deletion Request
Send it from the email address on the account so we can verify ownership. Include your account email address in the body if it differs from the sending address. We will confirm receipt and process the request on the same timeline as an in-app request.
3. What Happens Next
- Your request is queued with a 30-day grace period. This exists so a hijacked account can be recovered before its data is destroyed.
- You may cancel the request at any time during the grace period from the same screen in the app, or by replying to our confirmation email.
- When the grace period lapses, we permanently remove or irreversibly anonymize your name, email address, phone number, avatar image, saved delivery addresses, in-app chat messages, and push notification subscriptions.
- Your sign-in is disabled permanently. If you signed in with Google, Facebook, Apple, or TikTok, that connection is severed and we retain nothing further from that provider.
- Any active payment subscriptions are cancelled with the payment processor before deletion so you are not billed again.
4. What We Must Keep
United States tax and financial recordkeeping rules require us to retain transaction records for a minimum of seven years.
Order, payment, refund, and vendor payout entries are therefore preserved in anonymized form — the underlying transaction amounts and dates remain in our ledger, but they are detached from your name, email, phone number, and address. They cannot be traced back to you.
5. Third-Party Sign-In
If you created your account using Google, Facebook, Apple, or TikTok, deleting your 1YummyFood account removes everything we received from that provider.
You can additionally revoke the Platform's access from the provider's own settings:
- Facebook — Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
- Google — myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps
- Apple — Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple
- TikTok — Settings and Privacy → Security & Permissions → Manage app permissions
